Hello Everyone Today I have brought some exciting news for kpop fans.

Jennie Kim, known as rapper in K-pop group BLACKPINK, shows her appearance with new single title “less than a lover” was released in July 24th, 2026.

JENNIE is not just an rapper but songwriter, actor and independent label owner. Her label(entertainment) company is called OA which means Odd Atelier. She also still under YG entertainment as a BLACKPINK member continuing idol group.

This single suits this summer beach vibes. It is under 3 minutes, short song. I am expecting another album dropping at least before 2026 goes away from JENNIE. since she comebacks with this single.

the single “less than a lover” reached top popular music right after release, even I discovered on my Spotify feeds and listened several times right away.

JENNIE’s voice seems little bit different on this single. she has her iconic voice. however i could not believe the voice was hers after listening to it several times. It looks like she developed new singing techniques just for this season.

One of the producers of this song is Cashmere Cat. Cashmere Cat is known to be popular producing ARIANA GRANDE’S songs like “Adore” and “Be my baby”. it just proves that JENNIE is playing a huge role in the K-Pop industry.
